Studying in Canada can often be advantageous to immigrate to Canada such as gaining adaptability points under the Federal Skilled Workers Program, and eligibility to apply under the Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Programs.
Working in Canada most often requires your employer to obtain a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) from Service Canada before you apply for a work permit. There are some exceptions such as the working holiday program and open work permit for students and spouse of a study/work permit holder.
